Join the Anderson County Democratic Women’s Club for a special evening with Tennessee State Representative Sam McKenzie on Monday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m. at 201 Café and Wine Bar, 201 Broadway Ave., Oak Ridge. Rep. McKenzie will offer insight into this year’s Tennessee General Assembly session, discuss legislative developments, and share his perspective as Chair of the Tennessee Black Caucus of State Legislators.
A veteran of both public service and scientific leadership, McKenzie represents Knoxville’s District 15 and serves on key committees including Education, Health, Government Operations, and House Ethics. He is a former Knox County Commissioner and retired leader from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, now running a small business in Knoxville.
