No Kings 2: A Small County Stood Tall
They said lightning doesn’t strike twice. But on October 18th, it did—right here in Oak Ridge. Fifteen hundred neighbors, workers, teachers, and families filled the Turnpike to say what every Tennessean with a conscience is feeling: enough.
Enough greed dressed up as leadership. Enough power without accountability. Enough pretending that silence is safety. In a state where protests this size usually belong to cities three times our population, Anderson County showed what rural backbone looks like. This was community.
This was democracy made visible, built by the people who refuse to kneel.
