Oak Ridge / Anderson County No Kings Day

  • Oak Ridge Turnpike 1401 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

On Saturday, October 18 from 12–2pm, join the Anderson County Democratic Party and neighbors across East Tennessee for No Kings Day along the Oak Ridge Turnpike.

This local rally is part of a national day of action organized with Indivisible, the ACLU, the American Federation of Teachers, SEIU, Public Citizen, MoveOn, and dozens of other partners.

Together, we’re sending a clear message: America has no kings. The power belongs to the people.

With Trump doubling down on authoritarian tactics, communities everywhere are rising to defend democracy, local control, and our shared future. From Oak Ridge to Washington, from small towns to big cities, we’re standing shoulder to shoulder in the tradition of nonviolent protest that has always driven America forward.

This is a chance to connect, build community, and show that East Tennessee is ready to defend freedom and democracy.

Bring your friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Together, we’ll remind the nation and the world: No kings. No dictators. Only us—the people.
