Talking Gun Sense in Tennessee

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

A recent report calls gun violence a "public health crisis" in Tennessee and says an average of 3.4 Tennesseans are killed with guns every day. Kendra Straub, Tn Deputy Chapter Lead of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, will present a program about gun violence in Anderson County, East Tennessee, and around our state and country and she will share some common sense solutions: Be SMART, Red Flag Laws, and School Safety. Moms Demand Action and related organizations are working in Tennessee and across our county to promote common sense gun legislation. In preparation for the 2020 Tennessee legislative session, this is an important topic to learn about.

Join us between 6:30 and 7 pm for light refreshments before her presentation.
